Introducing our 2024 World Down Syndrome Day Kits – a perfect opportunity for children with Down syndrome to celebrate WDSD alongside their classmates!
 
We hope that we can sell enough of these special sock kits to provide an age-appropriate book dedicated in your child's name to their general education class and/or resource room from the Work and Play Cafe. While we cannot guarantee this, we're crossing our fingers for it to become a reality!
 
Each student in the class will receive a pair of crazy socks that will bring smiles, with a small blurb about WDSD to raise awareness. To ensure every child feels included, we kindly request that you purchase one pair of socks for each student in the class. If you wish to include the teachers, we have provided an adult option available for an additional 50 cents.

The picture of the sock kits serves as an example, but rest assured, the brochure inside the sock packs will feature a different graphic, showcasing the same design as our 2024 World Down Syndrome Day Shirts.
 
We learned a few things from last year. One of the changes we made is that we replaced last year’s static-filled ‘packs.’ We're committed to making these kits even more valuable. That’s why we're excited to share that we might also be able to include a few more developmental disability learning tools in these kits!
 
When you complete your order, you can pick up your kit when they are ready or have it conveniently shipped to your address for a small fee. * Please note that the 2024 World Down Syndrome Day Kits will be shipped via Priority Mail on March 10, 2024, to ensure you receive them in time for the special day.
 
World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is an internationally recognized day of awareness officially observed by the United Nations since 2012. It is celebrated on the 21st day of the 3rd month, symbolizing the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome, which causes Down syndrome.
