IEP Investigators

The IEP Investigators event helps parents learn how to investigate their child's IEP and learn about the importance of the legal document.

• Learn about the top three “red flags” an advocate sees over and over within the district. Learn how to respond to those red flags.
• What is it with the “parent concerns” area, how important is it and how can you use it to your advantage?
• Work with some of the top advocates in the county and #1 special education professor (and her students) to investigate your child’s IEP.
• Learn about free services you can use to make sure your child is receiving FAPE. If you don’t know what FAPE is and have a child with an IEP … stop reading and just sign up. You need to be there.

Adults only please.  You must be a registered member to attend.  There are two membership options - free and $20 per month.  The membership registration is important!  This lets our sponsors know exactly how many people we are helping and the age groups.  Thank you for your understanding.
