Join us for a joyful, inclusive weekend celebrating the Down syndrome community—while welcoming all individuals with developmental disabilities. Hosted by Work and Play, the Down Syndrome Head Start Program, and Michigan Avengers, this two-day retreat is designed for families who want sun, fun, and connection.
🌅 Day 1: June 24 – The Deck + Beach Fun
We’ll kick off with an afternoon on the beach and dinner at The Deck, Muskegon’s only beachfront restaurant. Located right on the sand at Pere Marquette Park, The Deck combines delicious BBQ, tacos, and frozen drinks with family games, music, and unbeatable Lake Michigan views. It’s a favorite of locals and tourists alike—and we’ll have a reserved space just for our group.
