Join us in celebrating the unsung heroes of our community—the businesses, individuals, and advocates who tirelessly support and inspire those with developmental disabilities. These are the individuals who don't just talk, but take action to uplift and empower our underserved community. We want to honor and celebrate you!

All proceeds from the upcoming DD Hero Walk will directly benefit the Work & Play Special Needs Resource Center, an invaluable resource serving individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities throughout Washtenaw County.

The DD Hero Walk is a celebration of our entire community, embracing individuals of all ages and all developmental disabilities, along with those who champion their cause. Registration will kick off at 1:30 pm, with the walk beginning promptly at 3:00 pm. After the walk, join us for delicious food, lively music, and the opportunity to forge new connections within our supportive community.

All money raised during the walk will benefit the Work & Play Special Needs Resource Center.  The Work & Play Special Needs Resource Center serves those of all ages with developmental disabilities within Washtenaw County.
 

The DD Hero Walk celebrates our community members (ALL ages ... ALL developmental disabilities) and those that support them.  On site registration will start at 1:30 and the walk will start at 3:00 pm.  The walk will end with good food, great music and wonderful community connections!
