Welcome Home

Finding resources for your special needs child can be overwhelming and frustrating. It burdens families like yours, who are just trying to give your child every chance to thrive.

The Work and Play Special Needs Resource Center was founded to provide a central location for therapists to provide services, fun gatherings, and crucial information for those with developmental disabilities of all ages and their caregivers.

We act as a central hub for the special needs community. Having a resource center simplifies access to things needed to care for someone with developmental disabilities, which is desperately needed in an often complicated life with a child with special needs.

We've Been Where You Are

Meeting your child’s needs shouldn't be so hard. We’re here for you and your family when you're searching for guidance. And when you need inclusion, community, and joy, we’re here to share it with you as well.

We serve Washtenaw County, Livingston County, Oakland County, Wayne County, Monroe County, Lenawee County, Jackson County, and Ingham County

We don’t want to miss a single child! If you're up for the drive, we’re here with open arms and hearts.
